California ECG Certification Class

80 hour Laboratory Field Services and California Department of Public Health approved Phlebotomy Training & Certification Class

Approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009.

Class Structure:

40 hours of didactic in class phlebotomist training.
National Exam scheduled at your convenience after you complete class.
40 hour externship scheduled after you get your exam results (Completed in one week working 8-5 Not available on Saturday)
All paperwork will then be sent to corporate for processing.
Processed paperwork returned so you can apply and gain your California Phlebotomy License CPT1

The Phlebotomy class in California is a fast-paced, dynamic learning environment. The completion of this class will qualify you to obtain your state license from the California Department of Public Health Division of Laboratory Field Services. Upon completion of the 40 hours of in-class book and hands-on training, you will take the National Certification examination through the National Healthcareer Association.

After you pass the exam, you will be assigned to a 40-hour Clinical Experience. PTS currently maintains over 500 active externship contracts statewide ensuring you can get in and done as quickly as possible. Phlebotomy Training Specialists have day, evening, and weekend classes at most locations, and an accelerated program at a few locations as well as hands-on training using VeinViewer technology.

Our phlebotomy training course will give you hands-on training on how to draw blood and teach you to skills you need to pass the National Phlebotomy Exam. In our Phlebotomy courses, students are trained to become competent for an entry-level position as a Phlebotomist Technician in the medical field.
